I know we are leaving you hanging. You want to know what's going on in that space on Water Street!

Things are happening... but, as it goes sometimes, a little slower than expected. We're waiting to start building (permits and all that), but I want to keep you interested.

I can't wait for what's in my head to burst into that space, filling it with the energy and vibe of Paris. So here are a selection of photos that have served as inspiration for Le Petit Bar. Hopefully it gives you a sense of what I dream about every night...

Le Petit Bar: The Beginning

Hello friends and hello Peterborough, Ontario!

In a few short months Le Petit Bar will open at 399 Water Street.

My  name is Shannon, and I am the owner/operator of what will be Peterborough's only wine & charcuterie bar. Petit it is - only 25 seats - so stay tuned, because (fingers crossed) you'll want to be the first to know about our opening day... I'm hoping for line-ups outside, and I want you, dear readers, to be inside!

I have ten years of experience working in restaurants. I have washed dishes, worked in a kitchen as prep staff, waited tables for YEARS, managed a restaurant and served as a sommelier. My goal with Le Petit Bar is to bring you the best possible quality in food and drink. I want you to have an experience unlike anything you can currently experience in our city, and I hope you fall in love with what I'm offering you. I am passionate about this little bar, and I hope you feel, taste, see that when you visit us on Water Street.
